Being in the antiques business for over 40 years we have always had an enormous collection of antique clocks. Clocks are extremely attractive and popular pieces of European antique furniture. We sell clock sets, grandfather clocks, table clocks, mantelpiece clocks, wall clocks, boule clocks and pendules.
The majorityof our collection of European clocks is made in the 18th and 19th century. We have amongst others gothic, Jugendstil, Breton, hunting, empire, Napoleon III and Louis XVI style clocks.
An antique clock is a fine example of pure craftsmanship. These marvellous antique clocks are abundantly decorated with flowers, men, women, heavenly creatures, lions, horses, birds or other animals. Some clocks show complete hunting scenes or scenes of every-day-life. There is a large variety in materials the handicraftsmen used for their clocks: brass, brass inlay, red marble, marble, onyx marble, terracotta, zinc, oak, walnut, mahogany, rosewood and turtle wood. Often a combination of several materials was used.
The antique clocks mainly come from France, Germany and England. No matter what you are looking for, we probably have something for sale that you like. From elegant 3-pieces clock sets and gracious boule clocks till more robust and massive grandfather clocks.
If you click on a certain clock, you will find all details regarding height, width, depth, material, country of origin and in what year the clock was made. All our antique clocks are authentic and of high quality. If you want to receive more information and prices, you can use the ‘add to info request’ button.
